Typhoon Morakot is the most serious disaster affecting Taiwan Province of the past 50 years. Party branch of Tahota and all party members showed their empathy with positive response to summons of Sichuan Provincial Committee of CPC. According to the requirements of working committee directly subordinated to provincial organs of CPC, Taiwanese Affairs Office of Sichuan Province and the Provincial Red Cross Society, the Tahota Law Firm had actively donated with dedication in the endowment drives to Taiwan organized by organs directly subordinated to provincial department – “Boundless Love Caring for Taiwan by Repaying its Kindness”. By August 27, RMB2,700 had been raised by our firm, which ranked the third among law firms directly subordinated to the provincial department and was popped up on Red List of Donations published by Party Membership Committee directly subordinated to Provincial Department of Justice on August 28, 2009. The donation from Tahota with dedication of love brings out conspicuously the forever linked futures of Tahota and Taiwan as well as the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation – “when trouble occurs at one spot, help comes from all quarters.”
